Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information the twistcircle app ("twistcircle", "we", "us") collects, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. twistcircle is made by TC Team in Bangladesh. If you have any question, contact us at tcteam@twistcircle.com.
1. Information you give us

2. Information collected automatically
When you use the app, our service providers may process basic technical information needed to run and protect the service, such as your IP address, device type, operating system version and app version. We use it for security, preventing fake accounts and fixing problems.
We do not collect your precise location, contacts, call logs or SMS messages.
3. What other users can see
- Your name, profile photo, cover photo, bio, education, profession, area and Circle count are visible to other users.
- Your posts, comments, likes and shares are visible to other users of twistcircle.
- Your date of birth is hidden from others if you choose to hide it.
- Your email address is never shown to other users.
4. How we use your information
- To create and manage your account and sign you in.
- To show your content and the content of people in your area.
- To send service emails, such as email verification and password reset. We do not send marketing emails.
- To review reports, enforce our Community Guidelines and protect users.
- To fix problems and improve the app.
- To meet our legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information. twistcircle does not currently show advertising. If this changes, we will update this policy before it happens.
5. Service providers and storage
We use trusted service providers to run twistcircle. They process data only to provide their services to us:
- Google Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Cloud Storage) stores your account, profile, content and media. Firebase servers for twistcircle are located in the United States.
- Google Play distributes the app and may collect information under Google's own privacy policy.
- Cloudflare hosts this website and handles our email.
Because our servers are in the United States, your information is transferred to and stored outside your country. We take reasonable steps to protect it.
We may share information with authorities only when the law requires it, or to protect someone's safety.
6. Keeping and deleting your information
We keep your information while your account is active.
You can delete your account at any time in the app: Settings → Delete Account. You can also ask us to delete it from the web. See Delete your account.
When your account is deleted, we delete your account login, profile, posts, comments, photos, videos, likes and Circle connections. Copies kept in our service providers' logs and backups are removed within 30 days.
We may keep limited records longer only when the law requires it or to prevent abuse, for example a record that an account was banned for a serious violation.
7. Your choices and rights
- Access and correct: You can view and change your profile at any time in Edit Profile.
- Hide your birth date from other users.
- Block users you do not want to interact with.
- Delete your posts, comments or your whole account.
- Ask us for a copy of your information or any other privacy request by writing to tcteam@twistcircle.com. We reply within 30 days.
8. Children
twistcircle is not for children. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account, or older if the law in your country requires it. If we learn that a user is under 13, we delete the account. If you believe a child under 13 is using twistcircle, contact us at tcteam@twistcircle.com.
9. Security
We protect your information with access rules that let users read and change only what they are allowed to, encrypted connections, and the security of our service providers. No system is perfectly secure, so please keep your password private.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the app grows. We will change the date at the top and, for important changes, tell you in the app before they take effect.
